Oct 28 (AD) Nine suspects including the suspected gunman have been arrested thus far in connection with the recent shooting and killing of the Chairman of the Weligama PS, Lasantha Wickramasekara at his office, police stated. Among the suspects are the shooter, the motorcycle rider, the wife of the gunman, a person who aided him to evade arrest after the incident and two others who assisted him in Sahasrapura, Borella. GovPay launches online traffic fine payment in Northern Province
Oct 28 (DM) The Northern Province officially launched on-site traffic fine payments through Gov Pay at the Kilinochchi District Secretariat under the patronage of the Minister of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs Ananda Wijepala today. India grants Rs. 2.37 billion for 33 development projects in Eastern Province

Vehicle market to face unprecedented price hike if govt taxes industry further
