Private sector borrowings pick up in August

Rising arrivals fail to lift September tourism revenue

Oct 13 (DM) SL’s tourism earnings were largely unchanged in Sept 2025 from a year earlier, despite a rise in visitor numbers, suggesting slower per-night spending. Sri Lanka govt deposits Rs.1.1 trillion in state banks by end 2Q
